Blåly

Free admission

Blåly is a new trio of rising talents on the Danish jazz scene, embracing and expanding the spectrum of new Nordic jazz.

The musicians met through their studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, and their sound is rooted in classical music, drawing inspiration from folk traditions and the legacy of great Swedish jazz pianists.

Blåly released their debut album, Nystalgi in September 2024, a collection of serene melodies that inspire moments of deep reflection. The album was named Album of the Week on P8 Jazz and received a 5-star review from Gaffa. “This is a record that is very easy to love. Try inviting it into your life—you’ll find it hard to say goodbye to it,” writes Jazznyt about Nystalgi.

The concert is supported by the council of Sankt Markus Church and the Frederiksberg Foundation.
