MOKUTO has released the CDs Message for the Errandboy 2006 and Dressed like
a Horse 2008 both with guest trumpeter Herb Robertson.
MOKUTO has toured especially in Scandinavia, Germany, Poland, Russia with
huge succes and support to their absolutely non-dogmatic approach to music.
Lotte Anker: saxophones, composer (DK)
Known for her intense playing and among the most significant saxplayers in the
freeform/improv/experimental in Scandinavia. Bandleader and initiator of several
highly acclaimed bands and constellations: Anker, Taborn, Cleaver (with Craig
Taborn and Gerald Cleaver), duos with Fred Frith, Sten Sandell, Fred Lonberg-Holm,
trio with Sylvie Courvoiser & Ikue Mori.
Other recent projects are the 8-piece group: What River Ensemble (w/ musicians from
both new contemporary music and experimental rock/jazz ) and quartet with Johannes
Bauer, John Edwards and Paul Lovens.
Has also played and toured with Marilyn Crispell, Tim Berne, Paal Nilssen-Love,
Peter Brötzman, Phil Minton, Mats Gustafsson, Joelle Leandre, Andrew Cyrille,
Okkyung Lee and many others
Peter Friis Nielsen: electric bass (DK)
Grand master of electric bass on the Danish freeform/improv scene with a highly
original way of playing. Has since the 70-ties been a central musician in groups like
4-5 Avantis, Clinch, Zirenes, Wild Mans Band and Ghost in the Machine (the two
latter w/ PO Jørgens). PFN has also played and recorded with John Tchicai, Evan
Parker, Peter Brötzman, Louis Moholo, Phil Minton, Kenneth Knudsen, Jesper
Zeuthen, Marilyn Mazur, Marc Ducret, Mats Gustafson, Pat Thomas, Mikolaj
Trzaska.

Plays mainly Drums and percussion. Composer & Producer.
Started to work with John Tchicai in 1974
Central figure on the freeform/improv scene for 40 years both as a highly creative
drummer and producer. Has defined Danish improvised drumming for more than 40 years, releasing a stream of high-quality music on his own legendary label Ninth World Music.
Composed over 50 scores for ballet, film and performances.

Necromancy:
The Danish music awards jazz-winning vocal trio Necromancy is a radical collaboration between composers and musicians Lars Bech Pilgaard, Anders Vestergaard, and Marcela Lucatelli. Using drums, guitar, effects, and extreme vocals, they create a tunnel between Western and Afro-Brazilian perspectives on death in a groovy rollercoaster of noise, gothic, and horror. The songs are sung in Portuguese and Yoruba, the latter being characteristic of Santería rituals in countries such as Nigeria, Brazil, and Cuba.
Each movement pays tribute to a specific Afro-Brazilian deity through their distinct sonic traits. Marcela Lucatelli’s intensely varied and physical vocal style guides the listener through raspy incantations, invented spells, and schizophrenic outbursts spanning the full emotional spectrum—all grounded in the immersive soundscape and trance-inducing atmospheres crafted by Pilgaard and Vestergaard. Polyrhythms and Santería chants blend with noise rock and free jazz, delivered with a subtle hooligan attitude....
