The city's many defunct venues such as Abbedissen, Bent J, Fatter Eskil, Æsken Fru Jensen, Svend Tveskæg, and many more were driven by a large and committed audience. It was a time that nurtured several of today's big jazz names in Denmark. And one of the constellations that often played around the many venues is this fantastic quartet that also served as backing for the city's up-and-coming jazz soloists and vocalists in the city of smiles.

Søren Bo Addemos, guitarist who has left his mark on Aarhusian and Danish jazz for decades as a permanent member of Klüvers Big Band/Aarhus Jazz Orchestra. He has also been a member of a multitude of trios, quartets and quintets and has accompanied soloists such as Al Gray, Lee Konitz, Jerry Bergonzy and Bud Shank and toured a lot in Sweden.
Jesper Carlsen. An experienced and recognized Aarhusian bassist with a past as house bassist for international soloists at Jazzbar Bent J and one of the great and frequently used bassists on the Aarhusian Jazz scene
Lars Bo Lindblad drummer, started his career in the 80s by making the jazz clubs in Aarhus unsafe, where he played with many local names before he later took over Copenhagen and now plays with, among others, Testmann Jazz and Bjarne Roupe....
