As the name suggests, this band features lead singer Emma Sommer and a group of seasoned musicians. Emma & The GrownUps was founded on the shared belief that music should be played together, as a team effort. They believe the secret to great music lies in always listening to one another and making room for each other. The result is a highly dynamic and tightly-knit sound.

The band was born after a jam night, where they had been put together as the house band. It quickly became clear to the six musicians that this was meant to be more than just a one-night project. Their roots in jamming continue to shape their live performances — there’s always room for playfulness and improvisation, making every concert a unique experience.
