IKI is a Nordic, improvisational collective consisting of female vocalists from Norway, Finland and Denmark. IKI works to explore the voice and its many sounds and facets. When IKI goes on stage, nothing is agreed in advance and the music is composed in the present. IKI draws inspiration from music genres such as pop, jazz, modern classical, world and avant-garde, but the singers' deep Nordic roots are the core of their sound and shine through naturally. The band has existed since 2010, and has toured in, among others, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Germany, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands.
