Will Bernard has been called “one of the best-kept jazz-guitar secrets on the planet,” and since his debut recording — which, incidentally, featured none other than Don Cherry on the legendary Multi Kulti album — he has been a central figure on the New York scene. He is known for his work in the project T.J. Kirk (with Charlie Hunter) and the Stanton Moore Trio. He has performed and recorded with virtually all of the grooviest musicians in the world, including: Zigaboo Modeliste, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Idris Muhammad, Tom Waits, Ben Sidran, Dr. John, Booker T. Jones, George Porter Jr., Medeski, Martin and Wood, Steven Bernstein, Peter Apfelbaum, and Mike Clark.
