After over a million streams and eight albums of original music—primarily featuring an impressive lineup of international jazz artists—Morten Haxholm returns to his roots with a Scandinavian indie jazz sound in his new band, Aether.

The band released its debut album on June 30, 2023, which has since received strong reviews, been placed in A-rotation on Denmark’s P8 Jazz radio, and earned a Danish Music Award Jazz nomination in 2023. A new album was recorded in November 2024 and is set for release on June 26, 2025.
