Children of Fish is an international Polish-Norwegian-Latvian trio whose currents converged in Copenhagen, where they also came together musically. Their work is influenced by the sources of jazz, improvised music and an idea inspired by the here and now. Through free expression and mutual understanding, Children of Fish present a childlike freedom, joy and simplicity in their music, while at the same time operating with instrumental artistry and unparalleled virtuosity.

Their music is described as nordic jazz or ‘baltic jazz’, which hides the traditions of music from the Baltic and Scandinavian countries.
