Free admission

Ned Ferm moved to Copenhagen in 2001 and has since been a versatile voice in Danish rhythmic music (jazz, rock, pop, hip-hop, roots, etc.). His 2014 debut as a bandleader, Spent All The Money, introduced a new form of folk-country-meets-jazz, where he both played and sang. Ferm has contributed to over 200 releases, refining his unique sound and writing hundreds of songs for his own groups. The sextet performing tonight at Paradise Jazz is selected from his latest release, Autumn's Darling (2023). The renowned American multi-instrumentalist Ned Ferm is best known for his saxophone playing and has performed with a wide range of artists, including Yusef Lateef, Roswell Rudd, Airto Moreira, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jakob Bro, Jacob Anderskov, Tyshawn Sorey, Mark Guiliana, Sam Barsh, and MØ. Ferm has contributed to over 200 releases as a musician, composer, producer, and writer, and received the Bent Jædig Award in 2021.
