The Christian Holm-Svendsen Trio, for this occasion, features Christian Holm-Svendsen on saxophone, Daniel Nagel (DE) on double bass, and Daniel Sommer on drums. The trio first played together during the 2024 Jazz Festival and are very much looking forward to reuniting. Christian and Daniel Nagel know each other from the New York jazz scene, where they both studied.

The trio will perform original compositions, including pieces from Totem (April Records), Christian Holm-Svendsen’s debut album, which received 5 hearts in Politiken and was nominated for a 2024 Danish Music Award for Jazz. In addition, a selection of jazz standards will be lovingly reinterpreted.
