Over the past several years, the Carl Winther Trio has made a name for itself by accompanying some of the biggest legends in jazz, including David Liebman, George Garzone, and Jerry Bergonzi. The latter saxophonist regularly performs with this trio as part of his own quartet/quintet and features them on his two most recent releases.

The trio has toured extensively across the globe, performing in countries such as Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Bolivia, Chile, China, and throughout much of Europe. As a trio, they have released six albums.
