Come to a Free Concert in the Museum Garden at Designmuseum Danmark with Jeppe Zacho Quartet, Playing Modern Jazz ‘the Old-Fashioned Way’

Saxophonist and composer Jeppe Zacho will be performing at Designmuseum Danmark on July 6 as part of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival. Born in Vejle and educated at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, Zacho has been an active figure on the Danish jazz scene for many years, including with groups like Jazz Five and The Counterfictionals.

In 2024, he released his debut album Introducing Jeppe Zacho on April Records, which has received significant attention and airplay.

Described as “modern jazz the old-fashioned way,” his music draws on classic jazz traditions and Afro-Cuban rhythms, offering melodic, swinging jazz featuring tracks from the album as well as new material.

Line up:
  • Jeppe Zacho, saxophone
  • Thomas Bornø, piano
  • Tomas Raae, double bass
  • Henrik Holst, drums
