With almost 15 years behind it, Copenhagen Trashzzfestival is a regular feature during Cph Jazzfest. The festival started as a counterpart to the more mainstream version of the time and is now an integral part of one of Europe's most trend-setting festivals. Copenhagen Trashzzfestival takes place at Lygten Station, and again this year presents a blast of a program that pays tribute to experimental music. As an experiment in 2025 the festival will move outside to Lyngsies Plads. Using the entrance to Lygten Station as a stage, the music will blast out on the square integrating with the noises of everyday life. The festival is based on improvisational music, but also presents ambient, electronic and varieties of punk, rock and noise.
