Picnic is a small eco bakery at the corner of Toftegårds Plads in Valby. In four days during the jazz festival the small bakery will be filled with new tones and timbres when the local promoter-group "Gathering" takes over the bakery and fill it with beautiful, experimental music.
To make this concert series something special, the scenographer Stine Stub Nielsen (who recently worked on the Reumert nominated "Boks") will shape the room and decorate it.
The promoter group "Gathering" has it's base in Underwerket at Toftegårds Plads and has been giving a space for the Copenhagen eksperimental scene for the last two years.
