Atmospheric jazz and songs in Swedish
Here is a unique opportunity to hear jazz singer, Cathrine Legardh, in a tribute to the Swedish jazz icon Monica Zetterlund. It will be with two excellent musicians; Jacob Christoffersen (piano) and Jesper Thorn (double bass). Together they will perform a selection of Monica's many and versatile musical gems - some more well-known than others. The concert will include both folk and revue songs as well as jazz standards translated into Swedish
by, among others, Beppe Wolgers and Hasse and Tage, Povel Ramel and Olle Adolphson - in addition to songs from
the collaboration with Bill Evans. Legardh has toured Scandinavia with great success - to full houses at, among others, the City Theatre in Stockholm and the Lilla Teatern in Helsinki. www.legardh.dk
