J. Ludvig lll is the solo project of drummer Jonathan J. Ludvigsen from the acclaimed Danish jazz and neo-soul trio Athletic Progression, with whom he’s toured extensively over the last seven years and released three albums.

Through his new solo project, Ludvigsen lets go of his human and musical inhibitions, molding a deeply personal space where bare melodic honesty meets manic and explosive stream-of-consciousness percussion.

This concert will be J. Ludvig III’s first concert in Copenhagen after releasing his debut album ‘Sadboy Fusion’ in November 2021. This will also be the opening concert of this years Vinterjazz Festival at Huset
