Many of these concerts have fortunately been recorded, so we all have been able to hear - and feel the atmosphere - from these master meetings; for example. the legendary "tenor battles" between Ben Webster & Don Byas, Sonny Stitt & Gene Ammons and John Coltrane & Sonny Rollins.
