Tapperiet is a youth culture centre in Køge, which is a house for young people between 15 and 25 years. But "Tapperiet is also a house for young and everyone else." Tapperiet is hosting all sorts of concerts and events. But youth involvement is a key word. The house does a lot to support the local grassroots in all genres by lending free rehearsal rooms, studio and putting lots of local bands on stage. Tapperiets jazz committee has 8-15 events per year, including the very popular jazz brunch events.
