This is what GAFFA Danmark wrote after Alpas Ave's concert for UHØRT Presenter in May 2021, where the reviewer signed off with five stars. It is not the first time that the duo, consisting of Marianne Ernst Dam and Martin Pilgaard Grishauge, has made a name for themselves on the Danish music scene with their alternative dark-pop. Alpas Ave have indeed set their own musical agenda with the release of the debut EP 'Black Mirror', which received five stars at GAFFA and was mentioned as one of the week's five most important albums by both Soundvenue and Bands of Tomorrow.

Alpas Ave perform live as a fully cast quartet, where the band, in a mix of acoustic and electronic instrumentation, manages to unite the modern, classic and futuristic in expressive, detailed narratives. + Special Guest: Alto Aria
Alto Aria is the name of Maria Leth Schütze’s solo project. With the project, she investigates
relations between acoustic and electronic sound and focuses on transformation and transition as a starting point in her music. With her debut album ‘Tides’, which was released through Rhizome, Maria focuses on tides, becoming a body of water and the transience of everything. Maria also released a small experimental piece, ‘For Marta’, which deals with friendship and circularity, the album ‘Shapes’, which focuses on dreams made from a dream diary and in spring she released the album Sowing Worlds’.
