It is with great pleasure that we repeat the success of the spring and organize a Winter Jazz Concert in the most wonderful musical company with Sahra da Silva and Lars Emil Riis.
Copenhagen's Sahra da Silva, has for more than a decade been an established part of the Copenhagen music scene. In 2020 Sahra released the critically acclaimed album #blueswoman and in 2022 the singles "Just A Bit Crazy" and "Learn To Love Again".
One of Sahra's great strengths is that she effortlessly balances the intersection of soul, blues and jazz, mastering a dynamic rarely seen. She easily pierces any heart with her powerful presence.
She is accompanied by one of Denmark's most versatile and interesting piano players, Lars Emil Riis. Besides his solo releases, he is part of the world music band HogoFogo, which was nominated for DMA Roots '22.
