For maximum pleasure and disco, we take the audio side seriously. Our underground hifi party is all about a custom-built sound system, high-end hifi components and quality records to ensure the music can sound its finest. Note, our parties may have a heavy disco
flavour, but we have an open-minded music policy, with our selectors encouraged to play music from the soul no matter the genre.

We are delighted to welcome Donna for this year’s winter jazz festival and for the first time in Denmark. A resident of one of London’s premier audiophile listening parties Giant Steps and regular host for NTS Radio, Donna has been blowing up lately, with impressive
sets at Frue Festival in Japan and her Boiler Room debut at Dekmantel. A full-time music lover, her selections spread far and wide, always depending on how she feels in the moment and always with a danceable edge. Whether it’s jazz, funk or psych rock, she
plays music for open ears, open minds and open hearts.

Mokomizik

Magic City hosts Elise and Hvar are behind Mokomizik Records, a reissue label focused on giving rare and forgotten music a new lease of life. Originally from the UK, but now based in Copenhagen, they have been residents at Alice, supporting the likes of Orlando
Julius and Kasai Allstars, and are behind a number of hifi events in the city, including Bonbon Disco and Love Jamboree. As avid diggers, they have amassed an impressive collection of music from across the world. Whether it’s obscure disco, funk, jazz, latin,
90s soca or house, their carefully curated and unique approach to their sets are a magic recipe to set any dance floor on fire.

Vinyl connoisseur, collector and local legend Martin from Can Records distinct style and sense for hidden gems is without comparison. His cozy record store is home to a small but extremely well-curated selection of jazz, disco, rare groove, early electronic and
world records. The store is a must visit for any record collector coming to Copenhagen. Martin’s love for music, of course means that he is also a DJ and his profound original taste spanning from hypnotic instrumental string tunes to spoken word and funky
rare grooves is what he will present.
