Aalborg used to be filled with Jazz bars, where musicians would go and hang out, playing tunes until the wee hours..... and now.... ITS BACK! JAZZ9TUS hosts hangs, jam sessions, concerts with jazz and funk music with the best musicians in town. We invite amazing guests to stay in our city, breathing life and challenge to the local scene and pleasing the ears and legs of music lovers from all of Northern Denmark. We like to collaborate - both with legendary partners such as the amazing Center for Dansk Jazzhistorie for presenting concerts in a unique setting with Kenny’s Corner, but also new players on the Aalborg scene such as the beautiful and vibey El Mundo Aalborg bar where we host the bi-weekly JAZZ I GADEN jam night.
