The danish-german duo Wesen, consisting of Ida Nørby and Jon Sensmeier, investigates a common ground between the approaches of modern classical music and improvisation, in an electroacoustic context. They create textures on cello and saxophone resembling the human voice, and wind melodies into cinematic landscapes and abstractions.

TRIP (derived from ‘triptych’ & ‘trippe’) is a open-form trio consisting of three Copenhagen-based improvisers and composers. Their musical mindset in this constellation is shaped by inspirations from visual art, which creates a web of mutually intertwined voices, tripping and dripping in the sonic geometry.
