The Kæmpeorkesteret The Very Big Band brings culture to life, when they unite classical and rhythmic music with folk music, electronic music and sound art in a transversal collaboration, which results in concerts throughout the country. No fewer than 50 musicians from the Southern Danish Conservatory of Music in Esbjerg meet across years in the large orchestra. The music is created by the young musicians over the course of a single week under the direction of Thommy Andersson, who is the project's artistic director. The headline for this year's concert tour is Nostalgia. Come and get a unique and unconventional live experience, when The Very Big Band takes the stage in the iconic Kirkesal at Koldinghus.
