A completely unique duo: Anders Koppel on his legendary Hammond organ and Henrik Dam Thomsen on cello. The original and beautiful sound that the two musicians conjure up has a very special beauty. Their individual virtuosity is released in inspired sound, beautiful melodies and swinging rhythms, both in the intimate conversation and in larger symphonic narratives. The repertoire mainly consists of original compositions by Anders Koppel, with some elements from other composers and freer passages. The audience will experience an intense interplay, landscapes of beauty performed on two instruments, cello and organ - by two musicians who both sing on their instrument.
They have released 2 CDs: Still Life (2020, Dacapo) and Gently (2022, Cowbell) and in 2022 and 2023 took part in the musical dramatic performance The Shoes by the River.
