Guitarist Alfred Lykke and saxophonist Maria Dybbroe resonate with the sounds of steelworks and forgotten songs. As a duo, they explore the spectrum between the sparse and the explosive – the poetic and the abstract. Both are known from bands such as Natlyst, Caktus, and Køs, and they share a deep love for free improvisation. Last year, they released their debut album Mmemosyne on Barefoot Records, an acoustic ambient 10” vinyl featuring delicate, organic compositions created in the moment. The album received praise from both Danish and international critics.
