After a short break from the role of orchestra leader, the saxophonist and composer Thomas Hass has
chose to assemble a larger ensemble in the form of a 6tet. The group consists of younger musicians who are some of the greatest talents of their generation, musicians whom he has played and recorded with in various groups in recent years.
Thomas, who several years ago composed and arranged for DR Bigband, German NDRBigband, and not least the prize-winning jazz quintet Page One, in this ensemble once again lets his inner arranger out into the open.
