The master of Bossa nova guitar playing and singing, João Gilberto, has given us his unique take on songs that have become timeless classics.
At Vinterjazz 2025, Brasiliando will pay tribute to his legacy.
The quintet will pick some of their favourite songs from the Bossa Nova songbook like Corcovado, Garota de Ipanema, Brigas Nunca Mais, O Pato, A Felicidade, Chega de Saudade, O Sapo/A Rã, O Samba de Minha Terra, Eu vim da Bahia, É Preciso Perdoar, Aguas de Março. All songs will be sung in Portuguese.
The Brazilian rhythms, the beautiful melodies and the quintet’s love of the music - combined - will ensure a great evening.
