YASAK HELVA
Yasak Helva draws from a wide range of genres, including death metal, pop rock, arabesque, Turkish folk music, jazz, and grunge. On stage, they use modified and specially designed Anatolian instruments, alongside bass and drums. Their music offers a rich blend of influences from Anatolia, the Balkans, and the Middle East.
Yasak Helva's debut release was featured on the Turkish psychedelic compilation album Saz Power, which was distributed in Europe, America, and Japan in 2018. They released their first album, Rektefe, in October 2019. Between 2020 and 2022, they released four singles, each rooted in different traditions and styles, such as Tuvan throat singing, rebetiko, Indo-European disco, and Reyhani dance music from Mardin.
In 2024, Yasak Helva released two singles from their upcoming second album, Atamba, and a cover of the iconic Turkish Anatolian pop band Moğollar.

THORHAN
Thorhan - Anatolian and Icelandic Symbiosis: A unique musical project that blends Nordic and Anatolian music in a creative dialogue, celebrating diversity through its artistic vision.
They are two artists with roots in Turkey and Iceland (Thor Arnarson and Orhan Özgür Turan), born and raised in Denmark. Orhan Özgür Turan, an award-winning musician and virtuoso Bağlama player, plays the ancient Anatolian instrument Bağlama/Saz on and is renowned for his expertise across various styles. Thor creates unique and captivating sounds on the electric guitar. Both of them sing in their native languages (Turkish and Icelandic) and craft beautiful instrumental compositions.
They explore musical boundaries and celebrate diversity in modern Denmark. Their background and passion for Nordic and Turkish music contribute to an artistic expression that reflects today's diverse society and inspires future generations to embrace and celebrate diversity through music.
