Barbora Kovacova (SI)
Created by Slovak conceptual artist, composer, ceramist, and poet Barbora Kovacova, this immersive sound installation delves into the therapeutic hums of beehives, recorded over two years. Blending these deep frequencies with minimal electronics and a parallel baritone composition, the piece invites the audience into a meditative experience, where low vibrations resonate through the floor.
Kovacova’s work often explores the unpredictable nature of the human psyche, combining concrete music, text, and ceramics in performative sound installations. The piece will be further enhanced by atmospheric smoke and candle lighting, offering a multisensory, site-specific experience.
