Midera/Sensmeier Duo
In this meeting, Malina Midera and Jon Sensmeier will continue their existing collaborations, creating playful and intuitive improvisations with their instruments with electronics. Malina Midera (PL) is a Copenhagen-based pianist, composer, improviser, and electronic music artist with a passion for photography. She has composed for film and theater and performed internationally, blending classical training, jazz improvisation, and electronic sounds. Jon Sensmeier (DE) is a Copenhagen-based electro-acoustic musician. Trained as a jazz saxophonist, he explores saxophone with live electronics since having studied at Rhythmic Music Conservatory Copenhagen, creating harmony and rhythm through textural manipulations.
