Jazz guitarist and composer Anna Roemer has established herself as one of the most original voices on the Danish music scene. With her distinctive guitar sound and a pedalboard as her playing partner, she creates intimate, cinematic, and deeply personal sonic landscapes.
In 2024, she released her critically acclaimed album Blåregn, which GAFFA awarded 6 stars, simply calling it “A masterpiece.”
Blåregn also earned her the Carl Prize as Jazz Composer of the Year.
In January 2026, Roemer will re-release the album in a new version featuring strings, and “Anna Roemer with Strings” will embark on a tour in February, stopping by Radar on that occasion.
The project had a strong live debut at this year’s Spot Festival, filling Lille Sal in Musikhuset Aarhus—receiving enthusiastic reviews:
