The Swiss ensemble 'Latenz' make their first concert in Denmark with two new works, one by the Danish/American composer Connor McLean and the other by the ensemble’s own Paula Haeni. In McLean’s piece ‘Dirt’, cellist Benjamin Coyte plays with the highly amplified sounds of wood on strings, focusing on this point of contact between materials and strings, guiding us through a surreal world of found images interacting with composed texts. In the second piece ‘La Loggia’ Haeni explores the extreme limits of her own custom 3d printed bass clarinet and live electronics.
