Starting from sound, dimensions, contrasts, and love, Asger Nissen merges a selected repertoire of his own (and favorite) pieces into a spontaneous and open solo set for alto saxophone.
Stylistically, Asger Nissen emerges from the broad and powerful American jazz tradition. His playing is further informed by contemporary classical music as well as popular contemporary genres such as art pop, hip-hop, and electronic music.

With his improvised and holistic approach to music, Asger Nissen seeks to remind the deep 21st century of the raw and unpolished, the social, the understanding, and the human.
