Danish/Argentinian composer and guitarist Mark Solborg and his TUNGEMÅL project are preoccupied with the electric guitar as a voice in a contemporary chamber music context. With this comprehensive project, Solborg wants to challenge and explore the intimate concert experience and develop methods and tools for creative work with it. A development, nuancing and awareness of the modern guitar in interaction with acoustic instruments and the spaces in which the music is performed.


How do we speak musically – alone and with others – using different languages? Solborg seeks to explore, illustrate and raise awareness of the ongoing interpersonal debate. A conversation that is becoming increasingly important if we are to be able to solve the problems we face as a species and as a society.
