Nikolaj has performed at Denmark’s large and small venues, music and literary festivals, in churches, private living rooms, and at events hosted by e.g. Gyldendal’s Art Association, Kristeligt Dagblad, DR Church, and the Danish Church in London. During concerts, Nikolaj shares stories about the creation of the songs, recites some of his poems, and creates presence and connection with the audience.
At the concert at Klaverfabrikken, he will play in a trio setup with two friends from his live band, accompanying on piano, electric guitar, and vocals.
Nikolaj Paakjær is the steady wingman in Hymns from Nineveh and also has the duo Double Moon Mirage with his wife, Henriette.
