Blåly
Flowing drum grooves, hypnotic piano patterns, and ethereal tones from bowed double bass create a bare sonic landscape that is simple, immersive, spacious, and honest.
Blåly performs atmospheric instrumental music, rooted in close collaboration and musical togetherness. In a collective exploration of ideas, Blåly combines gentle lyrical melodies and rich, melancholic harmonies into a mature and textural sound palette, drawing on elements of musical poetry, jazz, folk, and Nordic as well as classical traditions.
In 2024, Blåly released their debut album Nystalgi on the acclaimed jazz label April Records. The album was named Album of the Week on DR P8 Jazz and received four- and five-star reviews from Politiken and GAFFA. Since then, Blåly has played a long line of sold-out, critically praised concerts, and in 2026 they return with their second album, the first single Bølger being released on January 23.
