For Dawda, the kora is alive and ever-changing; each day he explores new expressions, blending the instrument with his wide musical background. Although Dawda began his musical journey as a percussionist, he discovered his true voice as a near-adult through the kora’s enchanting, crisp and gentle tone – a gift to all of us who get to listen.
