During the winter holidays, we invite you to a family folk kitchen with communal dining, a child-friendly menu, and a children’s concert after the meal. This folk kitchen begins at 5:00 PM, so both children and adults can stay awake and enjoy the evening. The children’s library will be ready for play before dinner.
Trio Høgsbro consists of saxophonist Jakob Høgsbro, bassist Ida Hvid, and drummer Benita Haastrup. They perform and tell Gruesome Jazzy Fairy Tales—a sparkling fusion of jazz, poetry, and Rune T. Kidde’s wonderfully twisted retellings of classic fairy tales.
On stage, stories such as The Three Billy Goats from the Supermarket, Little Purple Filthy Hood, Cinderbash, and The Ugly Duckling unfold in a universe where humor, rhythm, and improvisation melt together. Saxophonist and composer Jakob Høgsbro has worked closely with Rune T. Kidde for many years, creating music for a wide range of his texts.

Meat dish: Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes, lingonberries, and gravy, served with crunchy vegetables and sprouts.

Doors open at 4:00 PM, communal dining begins at 5:00 PM, and the concert starts at 6:00 PM....
