The trio Little North impresses reviewers and audience with their excellent interplay, wild energy, and subtle Nordic tonalities.

The trio’s latest album, "Crossing Currents" from 2026, is no exception. The album was created in New York in collaboration with vibraphonist Joel Ross (US) and saxophonist Hannes Bennich (SE). Here, the trio’s Nordic sound and poetic precision merge with the energy of the international jazz scene, and you can hear musical currents from Copenhagen, New York, and Malmö.

Little North has released six albums since 2020 and established themselves rapidly on the European jazz scene. All members are composers and draw inspiration from a wide range of genres and musical traditions.

Little North will tour Europe in the fall of 2026 and spring of 2027, and their only concert in Copenhagen during Winter Jazz 2027 will be at Amagerbro Jazz, where they will be joined on stage by Swedish saxophonist Hannes Bennich.
