Bossa Nova evening with the Brazilian singer and guitar player Rogério K. together with guest Helge Ørsted Pedersen (alto sax). The concert will include songs composed by Antônio Carlos Jobim, which were made famous particularly by Stan Getz and João Gilberto, e.g. The Girl from Ipanema, Corcovado, Wave, One Note Samba, etc.
Rogério K. is a well known Brazilian musician who has been playing for many years here in Denmark, but also in Barcelona, Munich, Rio, São Paulo etc. With his gentle voice and warm guitar he will bring the tropical Brazilian sun and the beaches from Brazil to our cold Nordic landscapes.
Helge Ørsted Pederden is the cafe's guest this evening. He plays alto sax in a very soft and poetic way. As his brother Niels-Henning who played together with the Brazilian legend Tânia Maria, Helge will play together with Rogério some unforgetable Bossa Nova classics.
