In the project 'Upcycling' Marius Zeeberg cuts up, morphs and rearranges the beautiful language of jazz from the past and present. Playing aggressively graphically distorted sheet music, the band creates and tears down the compositions as they go. The result is a humoristic, unpredictable, and deeply emotional expression. To play this music, Marius gathered an all-star band of his four favorite young improvisers on the current Danish/Swedish/Norwegian jazz scene.

"A sickly inability to do things slowly" — this is how the concert begins: with an explosion of sound, screams and noise.

AMER creates genre-defying music inspired by the Dada movement. Blending French and German into an imaginary language, the trio combines text with interwoven rhythms and atonal melodies. Their music moves between the absurd, the beautiful, the clichéd and the experimental, placing theatricality at the heart of the performance.

The trio explores themes such as sailing, Switzerland’s language barriers, hyperactivity and class struggle. The concert eventually closes with a gentle Berlin ballad, caught somewhere between ostentatious wealth, semi-domesticated foxes and glaring poverty....
