Jazz Five is one of Denmark's best live bands within blues, soul and jazz. They always deliver concerts with energy, joy in playing and love for the roots of music. Despite the band's name, Jazz Fives mainly plays old school R'n'B, blues and funk, among other things. with inspiration from 60s New Orleans.

The band takes well-known and unknown numbers from e.g. Dr. John, James Booker and Fats Domino under loving care, and spice it up with their own tracks inspired by the role models.

Jazz Five was founded in 1996 and has since played several thousand concerts in Denmark and around the world. The band has received two Danish Music Awards and released a large number of albums, most recently the EP "In The Meantime..." in 2022.
