Once again, Los Cubraz we be playing on Kaffesalonen's beautiful bathing bridge during Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2024. It will take place on Sunday 7 July and Saturday 13 July at 7 p.m. both days. Los Cubraz play son and salsa and the audience will get an authentic Cuban musical experience with lots of opportunities to dance. The orchestra gained three new members in 2023: Ana Palma who is the new lead singer, Alex Salas on guitar and Olivia Nuñez on percussion. The new Los Cubraz debuted with a bang with a concert at Trommen in Hørsholm in autumn 2023. Los Cubraz's sound is known from the small orchestras that play in restaurants and cafes in Havana, Cuba. The style became especially known in the rest of the world from Buena Vista Social Club's popular CD and hit movie in the 90s. The orchestra's repertoire is a mixture of well-known classics and their own numbers.
