Los Cubraz have once again been invited to play on Kaffesalon's beautiful jetty during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2024 - it will take place on Sunday 7 July and Saturday 13 July at 19.00 both days. Los Cubraz play son and salsa and the audience gets a Cuban musical experience with lots of opportunities to dance. The orchestra has gained 3 new members in 2023, namely Ana Palma as the new lead singer, Alex Salas on guitar and Olivia Nuñez on percussion.
The new Los Cubraz debuted with a bang with a concert at Trommen in Hørsholm in autumn 2023! Los Cubraz's sound is known i.a. from the small orchestras that play in restaurants and cafes in Havana, Cuba. The style became especially known in the rest of the world with the help of Buena Vista Social Club's popular CD and movie hit in the 90s. The orchestra's repertoire is a mixture of well-known classics and own numbers.
