Brazil behind, embarking on a
journey to a distant and wintry
land. Denmark, known as
“Dinamarca” in Brazil, became his
new home, where he has lived for
almost two decades. Today, the
guitarist, composer and singer
presents his third album, an

Denmark Unveiled through Brazilian Eyes
Accompanying Gimenes through
most of the album is Jan Kadereit,
who embellishes the songs with
tablas, drums, and several
percussive instruments. The
singer-songwriter Lucas Delacroix
features on bass synth and
electric guitar, while also acting as
co-producer and sound engineer.
