Kjeld Lauritsen on the Hammond Organ has long presented groovy music with inspiration from Jazz, Soul and Blues. As the other performers in the trio, we find two Danish musicians from the top shelf, namely Per Gade on guitar and Esben Bach on drums.

The trio has been a fixture on the Danish jazz scene for many years, and participates in, among other things, on Kjeld Lauritsen's first release under his own name "Hammond Organ Jazz". Since then he has released 8 records under his own name in addition to a few pieces as a soloist with Big Bands and 2 in collaboration with the Icelandic saxophonist Sigurdur Flosason. Kjeld Lauritsen has received a number of honorary awards, including the Ben Webster award, jazz musician of the year 2022, the Palæ Bar Award and the Walde award.

The guitarist Per Gade has been the anchorman of Kjeld Lauritsen's groups for many years. Per is one of the most sought-after Danish guitarists and is, among other things, long-time member of DR Big Bandet. He covers a wide spectrum from swing music to blues, fusion and modern jazz. As a soloist he is particularly distinctive, but at the same time he is a tasteful accompanist who always gets the best out of his fellow players. Per Gade has also composed a number of brilliant compositions for the trio.

The drummer Esben Bach is one of the hidden heroes of music life. With his stylish playing inspired by masters like Steve Gadd and Grady Tate, he is a master of the groovy rhythms that are so characteristic of funky jazz music. He has played and recorded with a large number of Danish stars, including Bobo Moreno, Uffe Steen and Margrete Grarup....
