Hyphen Dash is a Kyiv-based project of three musicians: Misha Birchenko (drums), Daniel Zubkov (keyboards, electronics), and Zhenya Puhachov (guitar, bass guitar). The band combines hip-hop, jazz, electronica, and prog-rock in their music as an attempt to express their feel and vision of instrumental music. The main goal is to experiment with themselves and to re-imagine existing music and sound.

Currently, the band has released a live EP, 5 collaborative singles with Ukrainian and foreign artists, and a mixtape of demo tracks.

During spring 2021, Hyphen Dash has given two sold-out concerts in Kyiv – at the roof of creative space Kooperativ (500 listeners) and at the HVLV (300 listeners). In September 2021, Hyphen Dash also became the winner of the competition for young musicians from Ukrainian artist ONUKA and Hennessy brand.

At the moment we are preparing the new album and music video in collaboration with Kyiv-based street artists SOCI...
