“Immanence” refers to an inherent dwelling, where the spiritual world permeates the physical. In a similar way, this pipe organ uses its breath to create sound. The spirit dwelling inside weaves throughout every inch of this creature until it finally manifests in a small cry or deep rumbling growl.

The (Re)Constructed Pipe Organ consists of rescued pipes from a decaying organs across Denmark. Calum has cared for these pipes and reassembled them to form an organ once again. Placed around the room, they invite the audience in to sit near and experience their unbridled flurries and sublime ambience.

Australian saxophonist/composer, Calum Builder, teams up with Danish producer/sound artist Simon Mariegaard as they explore Builder’s unique instrument.
