Yasuhiro Yoshigaki, a leading figure in Japanese jazz and improvised music for 30 years, blends jazz, Japanese folklore, post-rock, and improv. He's collaborated with Masabumi Kikuchi, Otomo Oshihide, Koichi Makigami, John Zorn, and Bill Laswell, among others. On this occasion, he teams up with Danish trumpeter Kasper Tranberg and pianist Simon Toldam, who have frequently played with Yoshigaki in Japan. Tranberg is known for his virtuose and direct trumpet playing, while Toldam brings a distinctive sound and imaginative perspective to the soundscape. Together, the three musicians celebrate cultural fusion through improvisation.

  • Yasuhiro Yoshigaki - drums
  • Kasper Tranberg - trumpet
  • Simon Toldam - piano
